WESTPAC AND ITS COAL INVESTMENTS - TIME TO DIVEST FROM WESTPAC

Westpac seems to be, according to the figures, one of the biggest, if not the biggest, investors in the coal industry in Australia.

With climate change and global warming denialism at one of its highest levels in Australia ever, it is time for people who have any dealings with Westpac to consider their options to change this, mainly with such actions as divestment, which has been shown to work in so many ways in so many world problems.

Westpac, being one of the big four banking institutions in Australia and one of those who lend money to new and developing industries, it should be one of those institution which sets and example to those who believe global warming is a scientific hoax and is to be ignored.

Those of us who accept scientific evidence against the hip pocket responses to everything for the growing size of the hip pockets - where they put it all and what they need it for nobody knows - know that it is long past time to phase out developments of coal mines for energy or other purposes - and to stop making a fortune on coal exports to countries such as China where even this developing economy has started to realise that coal must go because pollution is killing them all.

Westpac must be taught a lesson and people must divest - coal mining is an ongoing disaster and must be stopped NOW!

MALCOLM TURNBULL LEADS THE PARLIAMENTARY PACK IN DENIALISM.

If you ever want to read fiction of the highest order, or watch and listen to it in all the other media, all you have to do is tune in to Turnbull and all the other parliamentarians and their denier/denialist mates telling us what happened in South Australia with the complete power blackout in that state.

Having lived for 90 years through the period of the nazi holocaust period and subsequent denialists, followed by the AIDS deniers and the more recent climate change/global warming denialists, as well as the zionist story of anti-zionism equals anti-semitism spread by Israel, one wonders if there is anything left for denialism to feature.

Oh, I forgot the whole ongoing saga of the deaths and disasters in the Middle East - nothing to do with Israel and Palestine - all to do with everybody else! 

Not only have the holocaust deniers been at it since the end of world war II, they are still at it now in 2016. The ex-president of South Africa and his health minister who is no longer around propagated the myth that beetroot, garlic and a few other likeminded vegies would cure AIDS. The ex-president, Mbeki, is still saying it in 2016.

Climate change and global warming denialists are still in their infancy - in a manner of speaking - in more ways than one, and, what can one say about Israel and anti-semitism. The greatest causes of anti-semitism continue to be the Israeli government, and this will also continue long past 2016.

One can only conclude that education is wasted on many people and certainly the deniers show that they do not understand the first concepts of education - and nor do they want to - they make vast amounts of money from the denialist industry, money that could well be spent on rectifying so much of what is wrong in the world today.

DENIER: A PERSON WHO DENIES

The New Shorter Oxford English Dictionary 1993 Edition defines Denier: A person Who Denies.

After the Second World War of 1939-1945 (WW II)a new industry was spawned and a new word came into the English language.

Hitler's holocaust attack on world Jewry in which he was responsible for the deaths of around 6 million Jews was denied after WW II by the Nazi supporters around the world.

The words used to describe these people were "Holocaust Deniers".

To this day in 2014 there are still thousands who believe that the massacre of the Jews never happened.

However denying something has happened has created "denier" industries in other issues, one having been current in South Africa when Thabo Mbeki became president after Nelson Mandela retired from the position after one term in office.

Mbeki denied that AIDS came from HIV and for the years of his presidency and the incumbency of a health minister whose theories included cures for AIDS with garlic and beetroot, thus being responsible for one of the most devastating health crises in South Africa's long history.

A turnaround only occurred when Mbeki and his government were challenged in the courts by South African AIDS activists, leading to reductions in infection and mortality rates in that country. The situation is still critical, but at least is not quite as out of hand as it became in the Mbeki years.

There are no doubt other "denier" issues around the world, but the latest and possibly one of the most critical for life on this planet as we know it in 2014 is global warming and climate change denial.

Global warming has become a dirty set of words for many in Australia, including in political circles such as the current federal government.

Thus we have seen the Australian prime minister making a yet further public exhibition of himself on the world stage in his utterances about climate change and global warming.
