THE AGE JOINS THE LOCAL ANTI-SEMITES - CARTOONISTS OF THE WORLD REJOICE!

I know anti-semitism when I see it.

I am 89 years old and Jewish, have lived and worked in South Africa, the UK and Australia, and been confronted by anti-semitism in all 3 countries.

I do not know about the background story of the cartoon in The Age newspaper on Wednesday 3 February 2016, copy at end of this paragraph, but it smacks of the sort of stereotype of Jews from the 19th and 20th century and on into the 21st century.

This should have been edited out by the newspaper editor.

Anti-semitism is alive and well and living in a city near you.
